Dr. David Ostransky is the president and Medical Director of the North Texas Lung & Sleep Clinic which was founded in 1991.

Dr. Ostransky graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1979, completed an internship, internal medicine residency, and fellowship in pulmonary diseases at Grandview Hospital/Medical Center in 1984.  He had additional training at the University of Cincinnati Medical School, Washington University ( St. Louis), and University of Texas Health Sciences Center, San Antonio. He received additional training in Sleep Medicine completed in 1996 at the UNTHSC at Fort Worth.  He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonology, and sleep medicine. He has been honored by fellowships from the  Academy of Sleep Medicine, American College of Chest Physicians, and American College of Osteopathic Internists. Dr. Ostransky is recognized as a local and national expert in sleep disorders and is also the medical director for HealthSouth Sleep Center in Arlington,Texas. He has been selected TopDoc in Fort Worth on numerous occasions.

His academic interests in sleep medicine include CPAP compliance in OSAS, shift work, narcolepsy and restless legs syndrome.

His academic interests in pulmonary medicine include asthma, COPD, chronic cough and evaluation of shortness of breath.

Dr. Ostransky's careful attention to detail and reputation for exhaustive evaluation have earned him accolades and national recognition as an expert in sleep medicine.
