The specialty physicians of the NTLSC evaluate patients with both lung and sleep disorders in the outpatient and inpatient settings. After you contact the clinic, you will begin the evaluation process by completing a patient-directed questionnaire which will be sent to you by mail. Please bring all of your medications, prior chest x-rays, CT scans, and pulmonary function tests, or any medical information available. Patients will be pre-evaluated by our ancillary medical staff to review their medications, questionnaire, medical records, obtain routine vital signs, and preliminary testing. The consultations consist of an in-depth interview with a review of your questionnaire and a comprehensive physical examination by our physician staff.

A complete discussion of the physician's impressions, need for further testing, and recommendations for treatment will be shared with the patient. Educational discussion regarding your clinical problem or illness will be included. Recommendations for preventive aspects of your sleep or respiratory condition will be included. Your referring physician or primary care physician will be called and a typed comprehensive evaluation report will be sent with your permission.
